Shijuade Idowu-Tiamiyu holds a Bachelor degree in English Education from the University of Lagos where she was awarded the best graduating student, faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Education.
She also holds a Masters in Sustainable Development,International Policies and Management from the School for International Training Washington DC and a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Hampshire College Boston Massachusetts.
Prior to joining LASUBEB Board , Shijuade worked at the World Bank in Washington DC, the United State Global Research Program, Oando Foundation and was a Fulbright Ambassador at the Five Colleges – a consortium of Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mont Holyoke College, Smith College and the University of Massachusetts, where she lectured on cross cultural communication.
Presently, Shijuade is a Permanent Board Member at the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board. She is happily married with children.
